Hello, this is Mouse, the author! This short fanfic is something I have been writing ever since I watched Nausicaa in March...I wanted to write it and release it all in one go, and i love this film! Nausicaa and Asbel's relationship is gorgeous and I would've loved to see it flourish over the years, either in a sequel or as a short few seconds at the end.🥺 The fanfic takes place practically a year after the film, in which Asbel had taken off for a travelling trip with Lord Yupa, leaving Nausicaa, Mito and her people to take in the people of Pejite AND the Valley of the wind.

The story of Princess Mononoke told from San's point of view. Prologue: "In ancient times, the land lay covered in forests, where from ages long past, dwelt the spirits of the gods. Back then, man and beast lived in harmony, but as time went by, most of the great forests were destroyed.
