This fanfiction is off of the idea of, what would have happened if Zim and Dib meet differently. In a less Hostile manor. Would they be enemies? Friends? or maybe even something more. Who knows, well I do, but if you want to know you'll have to find out. (This story contains ZADR)

Dib, an Irken scientist, was sent to Earth to collect samples. While collecting data and substances, his ship is broken. This leads him to be stuck on the miserable planet, as he cannot fix it. He disguises himself and moves in to a small neighborhood. To look normal, he goes to Skool. However, he meets a human. He says his name is Zim, and he has superior knowledge of engineering. Well, human engineering. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The cover was not made by me. Invader Zim was also made by Jhonen Vasquez. This was simply just an AU for it that I made/edited. Also, I overuse the word 'kid' even though they're seniors. That's my mistake, don't let that make you think they're in middle/elementary school. I'll state it again to avoid confusion. They're in hiskool.

[aged up characters! They're in high school] Dib is growing up and he's beginning to realize many things- such as how chasing Zim is no longer something he wants to do. Dib is anxious about the future, he wants to change and be a somewhat normal person- he was tired of all the fighting. Unlike him, Zim doesn't want things to change. (TW! What if Zim were desserted by his tallest? But what if Zim did something he may regret? (may contain some explite language and sexual scenes)

Zim learns he is a defective and reacts very badly to the news. One suicide attempt later, Dib won't leave Zim alone. Will this turn into a romance or will they continue being enemies? Some things about the characters have been changed. I do not own any characters, they belong to Nickelodeon. The cover image is mine, I drew it. You can tell I'm great at descriptions.

It's been nine earth years since Zim left to return to Irk after learning the truth about his mission. Dib has been bored out of his mind without the one person who paid attention to him. Irk, Zim's home planet is now engulfed in turmoil as both of the tallest 's heads are at the ends of spears. The event of the tallest's murders was drawn to Zim, who was now mentally unstable. He sat upon a red and silver throne, his red eyes glistened with hate. The cause of his rise to power and mental instability were from two years of torture and humiliation. All that was left of his broken mind was just a faint memory of a human he had once known. Disclaimer, this is a work of fan fiction, I do not own any of the characters from the show Invader Zim nor do I own any images used in this story. Cred goes to the original artists and creators.
