A story based back in season six, around mid way through the demise game as this was when I started writing it (I've only decided I may as well submit it here now). It doesn't really follow the timeline but still makes for a pretty ok slow burn. Ok. So, hear me out. There are like no stories of this ship, and this is SUCH an underrated ship. As said above it's set in season six as that's when I started writing this and have only now decided that I may as well post it as it's become pretty fun for me to write. Grian goes missing and Xisuma has a guess on who could have caused it. A group of adventurers aboard a ship titled 'The Hermit' have set sail in search of adventure across the seas. However, the crew hasn't been very lucky with finding the adventure they were seeking. Iskall, the Eldest Mumbo, the middle Grian the youngest the three are very curious of the land above but their father wouldn't let them go outside of their castle. King Raskdior, made a strong barrier that only higher ups could go out with the use of a pearl. what happens when a group of mer people disobeys the rules, what will happen? stay toon to find out. In this AU, the population is split into two halves. Humans and Hybrids. Long ago, a curse was placed upon a lake, far from human touch for centuries. But as humans explored and expanded out, it was discovered. The water appeared pure and clean. The humans were greedy and quickly started to bottle it and sell it into the towns. But they quickly discovered they had done a great wrong. People in the town started to transform into half beast. Dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, cows, sheep, whatever you could think of. Soon they discovered it wasn't just their average animals. But dragons, fairies, werewolves, saytars, merpeople, and more mythical creatures. Some humans decided to hunt the hybrids down for many different reasons. To sell, to gain something they had, or just to terminate. But now, Hybrids are reemerging after centuries of hiding. The hunters having all disappeared for a long time now. But with their reappearance, it brings old enemies back from the grave as well...

Grian is the new hermit ( this plays in season 6 ) he is getting along with the other hermits fine but he has a secret, he has wings. Since he is to scared to show them to the other hermits he has to hide them wich is painful. One day he can't take the pain so he lets them out but he for unknown reasons can't hide them anymore. what will he do? What will the other hermits say?

Grian has been living with the Hermits for years. Long enough he thinks he has escaped his past for good. He hasn't, of course. And when his past caches up to him, the Hermits are left to pick up the pieces.
