Isis Orwell, a digital designer, had just graduated and started working at her dream company when a car accident took her life.
She didn't expect her post-mortem life to be in the Greek underworld, let alone alongside the lord of the dead and all things below ground, Hades.
In all the movies and series with Greek mythology that Isis watched, Hades was shown as a dark, twisted and tyrannical man with a desire for supremacy over everyone. These movies were not completely wrong, he was indeed dark and wicked, but his supremacy was limited only to his kingdom and he was not tyrannical.
To his misfortune, Isis seemed to have attracted Hades' attention. He treated her like a doll, a mere puppet for his amusement. And at times, she couldn't tell if he despised her or liked her, or who was torturing whom.
