Book One of the Downworlder Series ~~~~~~~~~~~ Do you know what it feels like to have your current reality torn from your grasp and a new one shoved in its place? Neither did Sutton Kendrick. Sutton had lived on Haven her entire life, floating above earth and the beasts that inhabited it. They were strange creatures. Half beast, half human. They were animals as far as she was concerned. Haven was safe. It was for the preservation of the purity of the human bloodlines. However Sutton's reality ends when after her eighteen birthday she discovers she has a beast of her own under her skin. Her world ends in a night of pain and the bang of a gavel because she is no longer human. No longer pure. She is thrown to the wolves. Her life changing in an instant. She has to learn how to survive, how to run, and how to live on a planet that is hellbent on devouring her whole because those that go to the downworld never return.

Siena can heal wounds with a touch of her hands. A captive since birth, she is used as a tool of war by a Plainsmen tribe. A chance escape into the forest proves successful... and deadly. Rescued by the Forestfolk--a group of people she always thought were nothing more than bedtime stories--Siena remains on edge. Trust does not come easily when persecution is all she's ever known. Keeping her abilities a secret seems like the right thing to do, until a tragic accident renders two Forestfolk spiraling toward death. If she chooses to reveal her abilities, she risks being subjugated again. Treated as no longer human. Maybe even sent back to the Plainsmen. But keeping her talent to herself means ignoring the injured around her, even allowing them to die. The choice seems obvious to Siena, but living with the repercussions of that choice is another matter altogether. A journey of self-discovery, a bit of adventure, and a splash of romance. On the Wattys 2017 Shortlist!

No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad. [Complete - under editing] (A fan's side story of Upon Wings of Change) *I thank Crystal Scherer for the wonderful book that inspired this run off story that takes place in the same universe! I dedicate this story as a gift to her and all her readers!* Aspen wasn't the only one to be kidnapped and turned into a dragonet, but she WAS the only one who had a something to hide, outside of their human intelligence. Armed with nothing but the wings on her back and the claws on her feet, Aspen did her best just to survive her new environment. But just as she was starting to get used to her surroundings and her newly acquired skills, the rug is pulled out from underneath her once again. Now with the looming threat of aliens, aliens, and more aliens, Aspen has even more piled onto her already overflowing plate. Sneak peak: It wasn't fair. And knowing that unfairness was just part of life, didn't make me feel any better. Life had dealt us a hand of rotting lemons and all I wanted to do was throw them and make life take them back. But I couldn't. I was stuck with these rotting lemons and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get rid of them. (Quick disclamer: Most characters within this story are my own. The universe is not mine. I might have slipped from cannon an intsy tiny bit. My story in no way rips off Crystal Scherer's original story of Upon Wings of Change. Only builds upon it. Please read the original before reading this side story or else it might not make a whole lot of sense. Also read the original because it's AMAZING.) (Going through editing! Chapters with a single star ☆ have been edited and revised. Chapters with two stars ☆☆ are completely new! Editing will start with the first chapter and end with the last.) Idea started June 16 2018 Started writing June 25th 2018 First chapter posted Nov. 29 2018 First Fanart given Jan. 20 2019 Last part posted March 15 2019

Sequel to Upon Wings Of Change. The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari. As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling. ----------------------------------- I did not originally intend to write a sequel to Upon Wings of Change, but due to a rather large number of requests from numerous individuals, here it is - my first-ever sequel... Book Two in the Riders Series - Behind the magic and splendour of Valaxia, lies a darker world of torture, betrayal and deceit. One that Neely Lynch has become too well acquainted with; her life contained to the cells of Acheron and her soul hidden from the one who shares it. It festers, growing dark just like those who came before her as she fights to survive in a world that only wants to see her gone. The tide in Valaxia is turning, the truths of history rearing its ugly head. She will learn, they all will learn just why Valaxia fears the Vidalin Rider.
