Alex had always thought he'd just be a normal Eeveelution. But of course, he just had to be different. An adventure long ago had turned him into an Aiveon, a new flying type Eeveelution, and very famous. Now, he just wanted to settle down, and travelled to a well known Eeveelution settlement, full of the Eevee line. Dream, a Sylveon, was pretty much an outcast her entire life. She wasn't liked by many, and was pretty much ignored. Living a lonely life, besides her one and only friend, Shimmer, a Vaporeon, she dreamed of finding love one day. War is coming. It will tear Pokémon apart. When an Eeveelution decides to go full on evil, Alex, Dream, and a few other Pokémon must team up to take down the new threat. It's been two years since Alex and some of his friends went on a mission to save Mew. But their adventure is not over. Sparky overthrows his old master, Mewtwo, and takes over. He creates a robot replica of Alex designed to take him down: Metaiveon. When the group runs into this Steel type menace, they do what they can to fight it and maybe destroy it. But the difficulty of the task is greater than they thought.

Metaiveon has been destroyed, but Sparky's evilness has not. With Josh evolved into a Brawleon, Alex and his friends fight to protect their world. But as they meet a new nemesis, a ghost type Eeveelution named Esmeralda, things start to get more eerie and dark. And Alex has noticed Sparky's internal struggle. Deciding to take advantage, he pushes forward in attempt to fulfill his promise he had made to Shimmer years ago.
