"It causes your immune system to turn against you," I explained gently. The color terrifyingly drained from his face as he stared at his knuckles. "I have a spot," he whispered, his voice scraping like glass. "Right here." He let out a strangled noise as the stadium footage buffered. "Riley!" he shrieked, covering his burning face while peering through his fingers at his future self. "Those pants leave absolutely nothing to the imagination!" He went so unnaturally still I thought his heart had stopped beating. His charcoal-stained fingers curled into tight fists. "Fifty," he whispered, scanning the fatal summary on the glowing screen. "I am... I am gone at fifty." What if the only way to save your future was to completely abandon your past? In 1982, Michael Jackson is suffocating. Trapped behind his family's compound gates and drowning under industry pressure, the rising star just wants a life of peace and normalcy. The universe answers-violently ripping him from his timeline and dropping him onto the bedroom rug of Riley, a freelance graphic designer in the year 2025. Stranded forty-three years in the future, Michael must face a world that already knows his tragic history. But Riley fiercely refuses to let that history repeat. She offers him the anonymous, ordinary life he always craved, rebuilding his shattered confidence brick by brick and teaching him the radical concept of self-love. More importantly, she arms him with the ultimate weapon: the brutal truth. She gives him the exact names of the snakes hiding in his 1982 backyard, the upcoming betrayals, and the devastating tragedies he is destined to face. When the universe inevitably pulls him back, Michael is no longer the timid pop star terrified of his shadow. He is a king preparing to claim his throne, knowing exactly how to rewrite music history and what it takes to survive. But armed with the future, changing his fate might cost him the one person who taught him how to live.

For as long as Rajesh Koothrappali can remember, Evelyn Sinclair has been his greatest rival. From their Cambridge days-where they clashed over research grants, publications, and academic accolades-to their fiery debates at international conferences, Evelyn was always there, a constant thorn in his side. Brilliant, ruthless, untouchable. She could dismantle his theories with a single scathing remark, and yet, she was the only one whose opinion he truly valued. But their rivalry wasn't just about physics. It was personal. Once, long ago, they had been something more. Beneath the sharp words and narrowed gazes, there had been late-night conversations, a hesitant camaraderie, stolen glances over equations, and the kind of connection that terrified them both. Until one night changed everything. Raj had been young and stupid. He had made a mistake. One careless, arrogant moment that sent Evelyn packing to Switzerland, leaving him behind to wonder if he had ever really known her at all. Years passed. Raj built his career at Caltech, buried himself in his work, and forced himself to forget. Until the asteroid. Until her.

When Artemis moves into Apartment 5B in Pasadena, she never expects her goth-nerdy world to collide with Raj Koothrappali and his quirky circle of friends across the hall. Suddenly, her nights are filled with board games, scientific debates she never asked for, and the kind of chaos only Sheldon Cooper can create. But somewhere between late-night stargazing, hot tub confessions, and holiday madness, Raj and Artemis discover something neither of them expected-a connection that's as awkward as it is beautiful, and maybe even love. This is a story of laughter, friendship, and romance blooming in the most unexpected place: right across the hall. ⚠️ Disclaimer This story is rated mature for some scenes, if they had a PG-13 option, that's what I would use. This story is a work of fanfiction inspired by The Big Bang Theory. I do not own the rights to The Big Bang Theory, its characters, or any related media. All rights belong to their respective owners. Any original characters (like Artemis) and original plotlines are my own creation. This is purely for entertainment and not for profit.

A novel inspired by The Outsiders Tulsa, 1965. She wasn't a Greaser. She wasn't a Soc. She was something quieter, sadder, stronger - a girl who showed up when things fell apart and stayed long after they should've scattered. To Ponyboy, she was a mystery wrapped in poetry and cigarette smoke. To Sodapop, she was laughter in the kitchen at 2 a.m. To Johnny, she was kindness - the first he'd ever known. But to Dally, she was danger. Something soft he could never keep. And to Darry, she was the one thing he couldn't protect - no matter how hard he tried. They both loved her in their own ways. She loved them both back. But only one could have her. And when the bullets fall, and the fire dies out, and the silence grows loud - she'll still be there. The girl with scraped knees and a heart full of gold. The Earth Angel they never forgot.
