Ever since his parents had left him to his uncle and aunt he had felt nothing but pain and loneliness. Even when he was with Tsuki, he didn't quite feel welcome. Like he was an intruder. So during 2nd year of high school, Yamaguchi drifts away from his team. He was quiet and reserved. He didn't think anyone noticed. He was terribly wrong. There was a small tangerine who hadn't been able to stop staring since their first year together. (Credit to the artist for the cover picture! (I think it was on deviant art...) Kageyama finds out that Yamaguchi is going through a rough time after he helps him through a panic attack after volleyball practice and is determined to make things better for him. However, when he tries to help, he ends up making things ten times worse, causing Yamaguchi to suffer more and losing his trust in the process. On top of all that, the team is getting suspicious about what's going on and Kageyama has never been great at keeping secrets. Will Kageyama be able to fix his mistakes and get Yamaguchi to trust him again? Or will they both crack under the pressure?
