Daemati are feared and coveted throughout Prythian. Seren Marzena is one of the few among their ranks. When her power is revealed to Beron Vanserra, High Lord of the Autumn Court, he is quick to take advantage of her. Beron no longer trusts his eldest son, Eris, believing him to be allied with the Night Court. Beyond that, Beron seeks several dangerous artifacts that are protected by members of the Night Court. He seeks the Dread Trove and the swords created by Nesta Archeron. It is up to Seren to infiltrate the Night Court and learn all that Beron wishes to know. Her task will be harder than it seems. The members of the Night Court are not what she expected and a certain Shadowsinger is always close at hand. Disclaimer: I do not own the ACOTAR series or the characters and places therein. I take credit only for this story and my original characters. This story takes place after A Court of Silver Flames. ALSO: If you haven't read the ACOSF bonus chapter featuring Azriel, I recommend doing so before starting this story. Warning: This book, while being a work of fiction, still deals with real elements. There will be chapters dealing with abuse, depression, gore, PTSD, and other topics which some might find triggering. I will not go into overly explicit detail with these topics. Alexis Quinlan was falling between worlds-falling through worlds-until she landed with Bryce someplace that was definitely not Hel. And now there was a male before her, the most beautiful male she had ever seen and something other than fear sparked in her heart. [πš‚πšŽπš πšπšžπš›πš’πš—πš π™·π™Ύπ™΅π™°πš‚]

Long before anyone thought to fear it, the veil between worlds had already begun to thin. Enough for old gods seeking justice to notice and take advantage of it. Rumors crossed borders, centuries passed, wars came and went and still the Faerie Realms and the Mortal Lands remained convinced that the distance between worlds was a law written in blood. Then, a deity found the fissure, and through it fell a woman from a world where Prythian had existed only in her imagination, carrying memories of wars already fought and futures yet to come. The price was her name, taken from her for eternity. Knowing a story and surviving inside it were two very different things, because the moment she arrived, the world began to shift beneath her feet. People were not quite as she remembered them, and choices bent in directions they were never supposed to take. Somewhere beyond what even the fae remembered, something ancient felt her crossing and turned its face toward her. This world had been waiting for her for a very long time. Waiting for the woman who would one day wield the Sun in her hands. For the Cursed Crown that would bow to no master it did not choose. And for a man born of shadows, irrevocably bound to her by the tongue of death itself. Azriel, the Night Court's Spymaster, is sent to hunt her, with every reason to believe the stranger who fell from another world may be the beginning of another catastrophe. Unfortunately for both of them, suspicion has never been particularly good at killing fascination. And perhaps, in the end, that is what this story has always been about: the nothingness that reached, at last, for something greater than ruin. π“†©βœ΄π“†ͺ Content Warning: This story contains explicit sexual content, graphic violence and mature themes. π“†©βœ΄π“†ͺ This is a slow-burn story. The protagonists do not meet immediately, and the beginning focuses heavily on worldbuilding and character development.

**Now featured on Wattpad's Official Lord of the Rings Fanfic Reading List!** The War of the Ring may be over, and Sauron may be defeated, but that does not mean that the very thought of evil has been erased from Middle-earth. Meet Nimalia, an Elf who has, sadly, spent a lot of her time with the said evil beings. After a long time in her captors' hands, she manages to break free, only to be rescued by a random Man who happens to be riding along her path. She is then taken to Minas Tirith, acquainted with the Queen of Gondor, and introduced to an Elf who will forever change her life.
