Harry had been a lot of things in his life, but happy hadn't been one of them for a very long time. He and Jasper loved each other. The wolves trusted Harry to be the middle man between themselves and the Coven. Bree was learning to be her own person with Rosalie and Emmett's support. Edward and Bella were about to get married (too absorbed in each other to annoy Harry). Carlisle and Esme were thrilled to see their family as close as it had ever been (despite Harry avoiding them often), while Alice bathed in the happiness of her family. Everything seemed so peaceful. Mortuus was still a thorn in his side, but he was growing annoyingly fond of that thorn. What Harry hadn't been expecting was a series of unpredictable events that would lead to him actually standing up for and defending Bella Swan. Oh, and having to tear down another stupid and arbitrary government. But when you're Harry Potter, what else could you really expect? Sequel to My Soul, Your Heart. The shits and giggles continue I guess.

Harry loses almost everyone he loves and discovers he is unable to follow them into the after life. He gets bored of moping in Grimmauld place so moves to the US, much to the thrill of MAUSA (who Harry firmly ignores). He settles in Forks, a quiet town that should give him the dull life he desires, though a Nicotine fuelled, long haired, leather wearing teen with a couldn't care less attitude was bound to stick out a little. What Harry didn't expect was a coven of 7 bunny sucking vampires, a pack of wolf shifters and an annoying little muggle who couldn't keep her big nose out of other peoples business. To make matters worse one of the Bunny munchers is under the impression that Harry is their destined soulmate and keeps trying to talk to him (Merlin forbid). originally posted on AO3 (same username Seriously_awkward_amy) but decided to start posting on here too xoxo Cover art by Strangemagpie xoxo 💕

'Mala fides': bad faith, purpose to deceive or defraud - Merriam Webster dictionary For Harry Potter, the man-who-lived-twice, savior of the Wizarding World, and the ultimate golden boy, life was good. He had survived the war, had a job he loved, a good home, and wonderful friends; the future seemed bright. But when he's asked to assist on a case involving Unspeakables, what he discovers deep in the bowels of the Department of Mysteries turns his world upside down. Betrayed and heartbroken, Harry does what he knows best; he jumps into the unknown like the good, little Gryffindor he is. * "To me, the thing that is worse than death is betrayal. You see, I could conceive death, but I could not conceive betrayal." ― Malcolm X * I'm not making any money, that's J.K.'s job. Cover by me.

The world had ended for her once before -shattered in a blaze of green light and a final, defiant stand. She'd been Harry Potter then, the Girl Who Lived, the Chosen One, a witch forged in fire and loss. But death, it seemed, was not the end. The universe had a strange way of rewriting stories, and hers was no exception. When her eyes fluttered open again, it wasn't to the cold stone of Hogwarts or the echo remnants of a prophecy. It was to the damp, misty air of Forks, Washington, and a name that felt foreign on her tongue: Helen Lily Swan. Reborn as the twin sister of Isabella Swan, Helen carried the weight of two lives-one etched in magic, the other tangled in the quiet chaos of a small town hiding secrets deeper than the forests that surrounded it. She was still a witch, her power simmering beneath her skin. But this world was different. It wasn't just vampires and werewolves that prowled the edges of her new reality-it was something more primal, something that called to her in a way magic never had. Paul Lahote was a storm wrapped in human flesh, a wolf bound by instinct and fury. The moment their eyes locked across the rain-soaked reservation, the world tilted. Imprinting, they called it-a bond unbreakable, a thread tied by fate itself. For Paul, it was everything. For Helen, it was a complication. She hadn't fought Voldemort, survived a war, and clawed her way back to life just to be tethered again. Yet, there was no denying the pull, the heat that flared in her chest when he was near, and the way her magic seemed to hum in his presence. Bella's arrival created its own complications by drawing the attention of the Cullens. Helen was no stranger to monsters, but these ones glittered in the sunlight and drank blood instead of souls. And then there were the wolves-Paul's pack-fierce, loyal, and tied to her in ways she had yet to solve. And she was no damsel, no pawn in someone else's story. She was Helen Swan, and this time, she'd write her own ending.
