SYNOPSIS:
It's February 19th, 2020 in London, England. Max, a genderfluid half-angel,
stays warm inside their mansion. This home was inherited from their human father before his death back in the 19th century. Max was only seven when he embraced death. They are an introvert who loves Autumn but dreads Winter's chilling reign. A reign which brings equally hair-raising traumas from childhood. These experiences were so horrid that Max blocked out most of them.
Max's mother. A symbol of tyrannical terror, as unwavering as the cold breeze
in a blizzard. Winter was here, and with it, a blizzard. When this terrifying woman comes to visit for the first time in 50 years, the system of alters has to work around the clock to protect their host. At all costs.
Rule number one in being a system of alters is that the host isn't supposed to
know that the other alters exist. However, that was in danger of changing. Being around Max's mother triggers so many negative memories that the fronting alter switches constantly, leaving huge gaps in Max's memory.
When their mother finally leaves, Max begins to wonder what happened
and why they can't remember. Will the alters keep Max from finding out about the system? Or will Max and their system have to take steps to find a new way of life?
