She revealed as her eyes narrowed, "Come! Join your ancestors and kin as their blood cries out!" She slashed downwards and waited for blood to be spilt. But, the ground remained dry, and her blade wasn't tainted. "Please..." he whispered as he embraced her, "allow me to defy my ancestors...allow me to love you." She pursed her lips and spoke, "I cannot." But she could defy hers.
