Well, I've finally conformed and stooped down to a lower level and begun to write a Death Note x reader story, wooooow! NOTE: NOT A LEMON It's the middle of the Kira case and you couldn't care less. You do some tech work, gather information and take people out for L, you do anything he needs to scrape together a little cash for yourself. It doesn't matter, it's all child's play compared to the extent of your abilities. All you want to do is play games and survive this stupid case. You're top of all the leaderboards on all of the many games you play, except for one, where a player by the name of Mail takes your place on 1st. They start to climb all of the leaderboards and constantly challenge you, distracting you from your work. Time passes and you start to get attached to Mail, but can you really be falling for one of your biggest competitors? Who really is Mail? Why are they so content on taking your place on top? Will L notice the change in you? More importantly, will you survive the Kira case?

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying.
