At the age of 20, Hiccup and Merida get married. They were so deeply in love at the time that they thought love would last. Sadly it didn't and the two split 5 years later. They had a daughter at the time and she was 4 years old. Merida never liked her but Hiccup loved the kid to death. Hiccup and Merida took turns every week with their kid so they each had the same amount of time. Merida found a lover only a week after the divorce papers where signed and Hiccup is still single and raising a daughter on his own every other week. Now, 6 months after they divorce is when I step into the picture. My name is Astrid Hope Hofferson and I'm a dance teacher down at the local dance studio. I also sing and preform at parties and large events. I'm struggling to earn money to help my mother who owns a bakery in town. My father is in the military which makes it even harder for my brother and I to pay my mother's medical bills. These are some Hiccstrid one-shots I created. Most are set in RTTE but I will try and tell you where. Some of them are my ideas of how they should or will get together and just some normal Hiccstrid fluff in the middle. It's been six years since dragons and vikings were united. Hiccup is now chief of Berk due to his father's untimely death, but the loss of one parent resulted in the return of another, his mother Valka. Toothless, Hiccup's best friend and trusted right-hand dragon, is now Alpha to the Dragons, after the fall of the Bewilderbeast. Hiccup has a long ride as he has to be accepted as chief and prove himself worthy and with fellow dragons riders, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and of course, Astrid and their trusty dragons, he knows he can do it. Things are looking up for the Berkians, but Odin has other plans. The return of old faces, results in new enemies and the entire village is put into danger by someone unexpected. Who can the Berkians trust, especially when it now seems that everyone is an enemy? Hiccup decides to run away from Berk without leaving any evidence. But to the village they think he was killed or kidnapped. The only one who knows the truth about his disappearance is Astrid. Hiccup and Toothless decide to go to different islands and convince them otherwise about dragons. When they come across an island it may change the course of their destiny forever. When the island goes up in flames Hiccup loses his only family and vows to avenge them.

Here's another one of my fan-fictions. Imagine if Hiccup had mounted Toothless in the ring after he was saved from the Monsterous Nightmare. Once Hiccup was saved by toothless, his father dashed towards them with his axe raised but to the chief's surprise, they flew away. Hiccup flew as far away from Berk as fast as he possibly could and promised to never return because Hiccup knew he never truly belonged with them, the dragons killers while he was a dragon at heart. After Hiccup ran away he was soon presumed dead. 5 years later, Alvin the treacherous kidnapped Stoick to settle a feud. Both with Stoick and someone else. Stoick knew Hiccup was out there somewhere, alive and well deep down; but he kept trying to convince himself otherwise, and it was getting to be too long with too little hope. Then a strange young man shows up on the outcast island.
