She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble. And whom is there to save her, but a certain Mirkwood prince with long blond hair and a pair of startling blue eyes. (A lord of the rings/legolas fanfic) I will never forget the first day I saw her. Those Bright, bold, emerald eyes. Her long shimmering blonde hair. Of course i was only a friend... how was i to know i was going to like her, maybe even some day love her.

It's been a long time since the events which brought about the destruction of the One Ring, and with it the downfall of Sauron. Life for Ariana and Legolas has changed completely from the days of adventure and excitement, replaced with everyday life and domestic bliss. But trouble is never quite as far off as it seems, and the spark between Legolas and Ana which brought them so far is sputtering out. The two lovers, brought together by war and danger, will soon discover that mysterious strangers and old friends can be just as dangerous as dark lords and gold jewellery. Legolas will face questions he thought he always knew the answer to, and Ariana will have to fight for what she wants the most, whatever that may be. But when the dust settles who knows who will be left standing tall. Rated PG-13. Nothing graphic, but I thought I should add a rating due to some more mature themes. 'Remember How I Love You' is the sequel to my previous Legolas/lotr fanfiction, 'Through Fire and Water', so if you haven't read that then I would advise you do so before reading this.
