Chapter 8 of Valedictorian!

Waking up inside of Louis Tomlinson's body is not how I wanted to start off my summer. I want to go to a One Direction concert, scream my head off, have the time of my life. But in no universe did I say I wanted to be in his body. I have a thing for Liam, not Louis anyways. Who am I? My name is Cassidy Conners. Well now I go by Louis now I suppose. Anyways, it's true, I switched bodies with Louis Tomlinson. I wouldn't say its the easiest thing. We are both having some things to learn, but we are doing it. This is our story about Switching Directions.

How did I end up crying in a Burger King bathroom?. Hiding from my problems like I always do. Because thats what I do, I hide from the things that break me.
 I hide from all of my damn problems...From him. Because he’s the thing that broke me, the thing that affected me. 
And now I'm stuck in a shitty old drive-in bathroom, with my problem knocking on the damn door.

“Excuse me!” a woman called from behind us, and we all jumped out of the way as a nurse pushed another bed through the double doors. I caught a glimpse of bright red curls. “That was the donor,” Harry mumbled, “We were so lucky she heard on the radio that Liam needed a kidney donor. She didn’t even know if she would have the right kidney, but she came and got tested anyway. It was a perfect match.” “It was a miracle that we found someone so quickly,” Zayn told me as we made our way back to Liam’s room. “Yeah, she saved his life,” Niall murmured as we all sat back down in the chairs. “She deserves a thank you,” I said, more to myself than to the boys. “Well babe, she said the only way she’d donate her kidney is if we payed her $10,000 for it. I think that’s a good enough thank you,” Harry replied, putting his arm around my shoulders. “What?” I practically shouted, “She’s making y’all pay $10,000 to save Liam’s life?” Harry nodded, chuckling, “Yep.” “Who is this girl?” “I don’t know, she wouldn’t tell us her name.” “Couldn’t you get a family member to dona-” “We didn’t have time. We’re all the way in Florida. His parents and sisters would have had to jump on an eight hour flight, drive here, and then get tested to see if they had the right match. It would have taken too long. This girl’s our only hope,” Harry explained, playing with a piece of my hair. “Besides, $10,000 is nothing if it’s going to save Liam’s life,” Niall said, stretching out his legs and leaning his head back in the chair. He yawned and closed his eyes. “You’re right Niall. If it’s going to save Liam, then pay that freakin’ girl $10,000.”

Like many typical girls, eighteen year-old Rachel Morgan falls head over heels for an out-of-reach guy, named Harry Styles, who, in her presence, tints her cheeks red, strips her of her vocabulary, and has all of the Earth's butterflies fluttering to her stomach. The only downside to Harry's lush, brown curls, cheeky dimples, and sensual, green eyes is that while he's wearing his husky blazers, preppy Jack Wills hoodies, or rusty Ramones t-shirts, he's got Rachel feeling like she's wearing an invisible cloak. But after joining the volleyball team, she dumps her invisible cloak for a jersey as Harry, who's also on the volleyball team, begins flirting with her. After the two go on an unplanned, syrupy adventure, they find themselves more close to each other than ever - that is, until a new guy moves into town; Zayn Malik. Starting off as a shy, artistic, and mysterious friend to Rachel, Zayn soon becomes the only wedge that could come between her fairy-tale relationship with Harry. Being Zayn's best friend, Liam Payne, the school jock, helps to further Rachel and Zayn's relationship. To complicate things even further, her best friends, Niall and Louis, begin to harbour secrets and spin cobwebs of their own. Then, a new girl with some baggage enrols into Beakman High School and gives Rachel an unpleasant feeling. What do you do when love gets complicated?
