Tanjiro, a popular good-looking teenage guy who aspires to become a singer and Kanao, a nerdy book loving girl fall in love in highschool and start a relationship. After a year in their relationship Kanao finds out she's pregnant with Tanjiro's child. The day she wants to tell him he suddenly leaves. This leaves Kanao completely heartbroken. She leaves the country to start afresh. Kanao gives birth to a healthy baby girl who grows up 6 years later. She is smart like her mom and wants to know who her dad is. That same year she meets Tanjiro and begins a friendship with him not knowing he's her dad and him not knowing she's his child.
