Jamie's father leaves her with his ex-girlfriend Cathy one night and never comes back. Not long after, Cathy starts taking out her anger by using Jamie as her human punching bag. The abuse escalates until present day when Jamie finds herself in one of Cathy's most intense tirades. Jamie's life is a constant struggle between hope and giving up, but maybe all she needs is someone to give her that hope, someone to teach her about love and life and having faith in the darkest of places.
