Basically I've been obsessed with this AU for many months and I wanted to make stuff for it, so this is it. I'll hopefully write my take on the full story someday, but for now this is what I'm working on. I know there are many fanfiction stories on this popular Story idea and I truly believe this idea deserves to see the light of day! After an accident, 18-year-old Varian discovers a hidden journal from behind a bookcase of his home, he makes a startling revelation that the journal was once his long thought to be dead mother Ulla and her experiences of the Trials of the Seven Kingdoms. Rumored to be the gateway to Knowledge eternal left by the great alchemist Lord Demanitus, armed with this; Varian journeys beyond his beloved home of Corona to try his might at the Seven Trials to answer his long-time questions, along the way he meets brand new friends who joins alongside him: Excitable pyro expert Yong, Passionate and encouraging chronicler Clio, Street-smart and sneaky alchemist Hugo, and the confident and determined navigator Princess Nuru. Together, they brave the Seven Grand Trials of Lord Demanitus... all the while trying to stay one step ahead of the mysterious and dangerous Lady Donella.

This is a comic book of the Tangled spinoff AU "Varian and the Seven Kingdoms." This story is my version of a fanfic by the wonderful Justinedaca. I fully recommend her story. Not only is it a good read, but you need that story to make sense of this one. For my rewrite, I will be writing my own ideas for the parts she has not written yet. I am setting this rewrite after chapter 12 of her book. After that, you will read my wacky ideas. You will see my OC or Own Character, and I hope you will love her as much as I do. I will also try to stick to the original creator's ideas but I am not afraid to take creative license. Varian and hugo always act like they hate each other but Varian has feelings for hugo and his worried that hugo won't like him back. Hugo starts to have a crush on Varian and has a hard time telling him how he feels. What happens when they both tell each other there feelings.

Varian goes on a journey to complete the seven trails his mother never finished. Along the way he meets Yong, a young boy who just wants to make an invention without it blowing up, Nuru, a kind teenager who wants to save her kingdom that is constantly ravished by disaster, and Hugo, a thief who seems to only be there to ruin things. This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way.
