I let out a small cry as my back hit the wall. I was out of options at this point. No where to look, no where to hide, no where to run. He had me. "Boo." He mocked as a small gust of wind swept around me. My throat closed as I felt his hand grab my chin forcing me to look at him. A cold needle pierced my spine as his transparent and lifeless eyes stared through me. I did not know what to fear more. His eyes? Or the fact that I actually felt him.

"You can't talk to girls like that, at least not sober ones," Eden said with a trademarked eye-roll. "You have to be a gentleman." Harvey's handsome face seemed to fall. He looked just like he had in the cafeteria the day before. Eden raised an eyebrow from behind her thick glasses, as if waiting for his response. Neither one of them spoke, so she sighed and turned her back on the hopeful jock and started to walk back towards the party. "Teach me then," Harvey finally begged, making Eden turn back around to him. He wasn't quite meeting her eyes when he spoke, and a hint of red was crawling up his neck. "What?" Eden asked with a confused expression. It was obvious that she didn't understand a word this boy was saying. Harvey let out a deep breath and repeated himself in a clear voice. "Teach me how to be a gentleman, Eden."

Allison O'Donnell had always thought her dream of ever making it big was slightly far-fetched. Understandable though, especially since the most she'd ever been able to achieve were small photo shoots she was positive no one ever really saw. Until of course, she is suddenly recommended to a movie producer. She has no idea who the anonymous person was and for a while, has no time to dwell on it. Considering she was finding it impossible to balance the new busy and extremely demanding work schedule with a certain rude and obnoxious boy she just couldn't seem to get away from, it was no wonder.

Prohibition hangs over New York like a nauseating smog. Most partygoers escape its presence by getting lost in speakeasies set up around corners of the streets, in basements, attics, etcetera. The more desperate—young or old, rich or poor—flock to the speakeasies run by demons. Their liquor holds more than just alcohol, it contains a dangerous power that causes the drinker to become lost within their own mind, living out their fantasies—if only for the night. Robert Hermann is part of a group of men that are supposed to bust these demonic "Dreamwhisps". However, after a fatal incident, he finds himself working for one of them. Now he must obey every order, every job that the powerful and charming Mr. Russell gives him. Failure to do so could lead him on a train to Hell; both physically and mentally.
