What if Arnav didn't make it to the rooftop in time to witness the scene that broke his heart? How will he deal with Khushi's confession? How will their love survive this test? This story is a re-imagining of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, told from the moment when Khushi meets Shyam on the rooftop terrace during the wedding. Told with one big change, the change I so desperately wish for, every single time I am watching the show. In this story, Arnav did not see them. And that changes everything. But does it change for the better? ----------------------- It's my very first time trying my hand in serious fan-fiction, so please vote, comment, and follow if you're enjoying this story - it will mean the world to me to read your feedback! One new chapter every Thursday.

Sometimes a love is so potent that it affects everything around them and sometimes a love story requires a necessary diversion to reassess itself. This is not entirely the story about the multimillionaire fashion mogul Arnav Singh Raizada and the fiercely independent breadwinner Khushi Kumari Gupta. It's about their influences on a love story of their siblings. Of the meek, sensitive and capable Akash Raizada who has had every concern taken care of. Of the silent yet perceptive Payal Gupta who knew not to interfere. It's a world where Arnav and Khushi learn that love might be beyond their understanding. Where Payal is more than Akash's love interest. Where Khushi is more than what Arnav imagined. (The characters belong to 4Lions Production and their television show, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)

As an avid fan of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon? on Star Plus, there were many moments where I felt the story could have been better. This is my attempt at taking a divergent route from what was shown on TV. This is my take at what the Arshi story would have looked like had the story taken a turn after the temple bandage scene. At this point Arnav and Khushi realize there is an unnamed tug between the two of them. It does not have a name yet. They are both engaged or to be engaged to other people.

(IPKKND AU) Some relationships are tied in extraordinary ways. They begin with conflict. They grow in hatred. They stumble, they fall, and yet they remain. The hatred grows as the relationship deepens. Until one day, even hatred itself is reluctant to grow, and only the bond remains. But it's a bond of hatred. And isn't it naive to have expectations from a relationship founded in hatred?
