Following the death of Andy Wood, Seattle's alternative music scene is left grieving. Knowing they have friends who will support them no matter what, Stone sets out to start up a new band, convincing Jeff to join in the process. After getting together with a lead guitarist and a temporary drummer, all they need now is a singer. Finding a match in a man living in San Diego who they met through a mutual friend, they decide that he's the one for them. The Californian moves up to Seattle to join the band, and becomes a part of their world. He's warmly welcomed by the people, and in particular, a young woman with curly hair and a camera, who seems to draw him in. Or, more simply; A story where a musician and an aspiring photographer meet, fall in love, and are surrounded by music, friendship, and opportunities in the early nineties.

The story begins in 1990, when Angie Pacifico, a young film student, and wannabe screenwriter, moves from Idaho to the Emerald City. She meets a young woman, apparently very different from her, who turns her life around completely. Angie finds herself right in the middle of the newest, craziest, most interesting and most diverse music scene of the time. Her life intertwines on different levels with the story of various bands of the local grunge scene, with Pearl Jam being the main focus.

A completely fictitious, made-up story set in an authentic version of 1991, where 21 year old student Sam is awakened by Eddie. Full of smut, band/singer references, authentic details, peak era Eddie and a reasonably ok, legible storyline, I hope. Escapist silliness, smut and nostalgia for Vedder/grunge fans who need a little cheering up xx

Eddie Vedder, a long haired grunge musician with a huge chip on his shoulder, never expected a woman like Becky to fall for him. Could she really love him? Is he good enough for her? Can she stop him from pushing her away? Can she help him see that he deserves to be happy?

My first Eddie Vedder fanfic. I was so inspired by the other awesome stories on here, I decided to write my own. And of course, inspired by the dripping godliness of Mr. EV himself. I imagined this taking place somewhere besides Seattle (can you guess where?) but imagine wherever you'd like. Also, does not take place in the 90s. Although I love the 90s. Side note: I don't agree with all the opinions of the characters, but that's the fun in writing, isn't it?
