Dream has been a selective mute for a few years now after a certain incident. The list of people hes comfortable talking to is small, and does not include one of his best friends, George. George has been missing for a year, leaving his friends and family worried, nobody knows what happened or where he's been, what happens when he shows up out of the blue with a new identity and a plan to return home to his friends.

Life is going fine for George until he starts feeling... weird. Everytime he talks to Dream, he gets butterflies- Yearning for the joyful sound of Dreams laugh- But, panic starts to set in. Their only best friends, right? George doesn't want anything more, at least he doesn't think. Fearing that these stupid feelings will ruin evrything, George decideds to take a break from the internet. Things in his life change. He loses his apatite. He loses sleep. And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!"
