Or, five times that Crowley comforts Aziraphale, and one time Aziraphale comforts Crowley. Aziraphale/Crowley at the end. Hurt/Comfort, angst, fluff, so much fluff, a bit of romance.

Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.

After George and Clay got together, life went on. Unfortunately not everyone is happy with their relationship and they show this clearly. After a lot of bullying, trying to break their relationship and a lot of pain caused, George doesn't seem to be able to take it anymore. (I recommend reading the other first!) I forgive you. Aziraphale watched as Crowley walked out the door. He'd seen the demon walk out of the bookshop a million times, always knowing that he'd walk right back in the same door tomorrow. This time, the door closed with a stifling sense of irrevocability. This time, Crowley wasn't just walking out of his bookshop. This time, Crowley was walking out of his life. I forgive you. Foolish. Stupid. Cruel. Those hadn't been the words sitting at the tip of his tongue. Far from it. But it didn't matter. Crowley finds Aziraphale in trouble but the Angel won't reveal why. When Crowley tries to help, he finds he only makes things worse.
