Loki had committed treason on a level Asgard had never seen. He would not be welcome back to his home realm. He would remain at the mercy of those he tried to control: the humans, SHIELD, and, of course, HYDRA. By the time the Avengers come knocking HYDRA's door, Loki's long gone in every sense but the physical. Fortunately, even in his silent, fearful state, he's managed to make some friends. Wanda and Pietro won't let anyone hurt him. The Avengers are nothing but a threat, and Ultron makes them a promise that they'll be free of those so-called heroes soon enough. (Basically, it's an Age of Ultron au where Wanda and Pietro have adopted a very broken Loki and they're determined to keep him safe.)

A fix-it one-shot in which Thor goes to visit and comfort Loki right after Frigga dies.

When the Tesseract lands at Loki's feet, he knows he should take it and run, but curiosity gets the better of him. He just has to know why there are two Tony Starks walking around Stark Tower. Cover by the wonderful Carry_On_Waywards

"Mobius please, just let me..." Tears were forming in their eyes, so the agent just sighed and nodded, slowly. Loki brought her hands to his forehead. or They burnt the TVA to the ground. Now, Loki just wants to give Mobius his memories back.

The Allfather has run out of options. Loki has made a fool of him and a fool of his realm one too many times. If he won't stay in his prison on Asgard, maybe he'll fare better stuck in Stark Tower. Honestly I have no clue why I wrote this. Loki is caught by the avengers on a mission, and Mobius shows up.
