COMPLETED. This is a non-despair AU with a bullied Ishimaru. (Forgive me) I just really wanted to try to write them in a kind of relationship in which they don't like, hate each other, but they aren't too close either. Not exactly Ishimondo until the end. I hope they aren't too out of character but anyway I enjoyed writing this. I finally felt brave enough to publish one of my many Ishimondo fics. This was inspired by some imagine your OTP posts that I found. I'm not sure why I chose to publish this one though. The name of this fic was inspired by the song I'll Keep You Safe by Sleeping At Last. The chapter names will also be named after Sleeping At Last's songs. Warnings for swearing, fluff/(lime?) and possible whump. I don't own the game/anime or the characters except for the possible OC's.

Mondo's on his way home from a long day of handling the gang, rain pouring. He passes by a box with a little puppy inside, he can't help but take the poor thing home.

This story follows Ishimaru Kiyotaka and Mondo Oowada through their relationship after the events of Dangan Ronpa IF, The story doesn't get explicit till chapter 4! I'll try to update as often as I can!

Mondo Oowada has survived through the hell known as Hopes Peak High School, but at the cost of his best friend, Kiyotaka Ishimaru. But at the very end of the road, he makes a terrible discovery. Ishimaru is alive and kickin', and he's madly in love with the Ultimate Biker Gang Leader. (This is an alternate universe where Ishimaru killed Chihiro instead of Mondo, which is why Ishimaru is presumed dead by execution and Mondo is alive with the other survivors, so I'm completely aware that it is not 100% accurate.)
