You and your family came to see me-I said no. Baat khatam. Rishta kahin aur dekh lo. And LEAVE. ME. ALONE!" My chest heaved with emotion, my vision blurred with tears I was trying hard not to let fall. But he didn't even blink. He simply looked at me with that dark, unreadable gaze... and then moved toward me, slow and steady, till I was pinned between his car door and him. No one could see us like this. He leaned in, caging me with his arms on either side of my head. His breath brushed against my skin as he whispered, "You don't wanna marry me... hmm?" I looked away, panic flaring again. He tilted his face, locking eyes with mine. "Bolo." I whispered, "No..." A cruel smirk curled on his lips. "Toh phir kis se karni hai shaadi?" he whispered. "N-no one..." He straightened up-now towering over me-and then, without warning, grabbed my waist and lifted me off the ground. My hands were caught between us, pressed to his chest. "A-Aahan-what... what are you-" I stuttered. "Shh," he murmured, lips brushing against my cheek. "You've said enough. Ab suno." "We're getting engaged in one week. Then the rest of the rituals. And after that," he paused, tightening his grip on my waist, "we'll get married." "Chahe tum khud mandap tak aao... ya main tumhe zabardasti le aaun. Samajh aaya, jaan?"

Freedom. The state of not being held prisoner, not being controlled. At least, that's what the dictionary says. But to her, freedom was only a dream. The only thing she had ever wanted-just a day, just a breath outside the cage. Yet her strings were always pulled by someone else, and no matter how she fought, escape never came. Maybe that's what happens when you're trapped too long. You forget what freedom feels like. You stop craving the sky and start clinging to the bars. She was just a normal girl with normal dreams. Graduate high school. Leave this godforsaken town. Go to college. Build a life. A job, a marriage, children. Simple, ordinary dreams. But he-he was anything but ordinary. Not a boy scarred by life, not a victim molded by grief. No tragic story to explain him away. He was the darkness. And he had already decided. She wasn't going anywhere. Excerpt - "You really thought you could outrun me?" he asked sitting in, quite. Dangerous. "I have to leave!" I shouted, voice cracking "I can't breathe here anymore !" "You will breathe when I allow it" His words froze the blood in my body

Kavya never expected to find her place at the prestigious Delhi International School, but then she met Reyansh Malhotra. What started as a chance encounter in the corridor blossomed into an unbreakable friendship that became the envy of their entire school. For three years, they were inseparable-sharing dreams, secrets, and a bond so deep that Kavya began to see their friendship through rose-colored glasses. As Class XII approaches its end, Kavya realizes her feelings have grown beyond friendship. Watching Reyansh laugh with her, walk her to the local bus stop every day while his family's driver waited with their BMW, and treat her like she's the most important person in his world, she decides to take the leap and confess her love. But on the day she plans to open her heart, Kavya witnesses Reyansh asking Sanya-the popular, wealthy girl she can't stand-to be his date for the farewell party. Heartbroken and hiding behind the school pillars, Kavya overhears a conversation that destroys everything she believed about their friendship. To his friends questioning why he'd never consider dating Kavya, Reyansh's response is devastating: she's from a middle-class family on merit scholarship while he's from South Delhi elite society. Their "standards are too different," and being with her would hurt his reputation in their social circle. To him, she's nothing more than a charity case-his good deed, not his equal. In one crushing moment, Kavya discovers that three years of what she thought was genuine friendship was just pity from a rich boy playing the noble savior. Some hearts aren't meant to be given away, and some truths, once heard, can never be forgotten. A story about friendship, betrayal, class differences, and the painful lesson that love doesn't always conquer the divide between South Delhi mansions and middle-class apartments. Vedha was holding her baby in her arms, her back resting against the inclined hospital bed adjusted for her comfort. The baby was nursing at her breast, tiny gulps filling the quiet room. Slowly, she leaned forward and kissed the baby's forehead. She touched her daughter's tiny hands and feet, still in disbelief that this life had been growing inside her just hours ago-and now, here she was, her newborn nestled in her arms, suckling gently, a moment of pure, painful beauty cradled in her arms. "You are filth... an unwanted filth in my life," Vedha whispered. With that, she jolted awake. She was alone in her hospital bed, the dream fading into the sterile scent of the hospital room. Her mother, Radha, who had been sitting in the chair beside her, panicked at the sudden movement. "Vedha, what happened?" she asked anxiously. Vedha, still dazed, shook her head slowly. She glanced down at her breast-it was leaking milk. Her breasts felt swollen and painful. Her body had begun to produce milk. Even though she had rejected motherhood, her body hadn't. "Amma, look at this. Do something," Vedha said, her voice edged with discomfort. The urgency in her daughter's voice snapped Radha out of her thoughts. She nodded and said, "Wait, I'll ask the doctor," before hurrying out of the room. Inside the doctor's cabin, Radha explained the situation. The doctor listened patiently and then said, "Since you're already a mother of two, I don't need to explain to you the importance of breastfeeding. Try to convince her husband to bring the baby, even if just for a few days. It will ease her pain and be good for the child. If feeding isn't an option, we'll have to start medication to stop the milk production. The choice is yours now." Radha nodded thoughtfully and left the room. She had made up her mind to speak to Arjun-one last time.
