After reading The Hunger Games triology I was interested in the relationship between Annie And Finnick (My fav. character until his violent death) This poem is about how Finnick promised Annie so much. Some times promises are hard to keep.

Everyone knows who Finnick Odair is; youngest ever victor in the infamous Hunger Games, irresistible heartthrob from District 4, ally to Katniss and Peeta in the Quarter Quell, right? Right. But there's more to the gorgeous, trident-wielding sex symbol than meets the eyes. Finnick is keeping secrets - dark secrets that no one must know. Forced into a life of misery and lies in the Capitol, under the constant threatening watch of President Snow, Finnick begins to lose all hope. That is, until he meets Annie Cresta, and everything changes. When Annie is chosen to enter the Hunger Games, Finnick is her mentor, and soon begins to question everything he once thought about love. But how can they ever be together, when Annie is faced with almost certain death?

Annie Cresta is a quiet shy young girl living in district 4. Like all the other girls she's always had her eye on womanizer Fnnick Odair! Little does she know his always had his eye on her. Annie hates everything that Panem stands for but she could never be brave enough to stand up and say it. When her name is reaped to be in the next hunger games everyone around her think she has no hope and that she is never coming back to district four,but with a mentor like Finnick is there actually a tiny speck of hope for her. Will Finnick do more than just help her. As she tries her best not to fall in love with him! Her mentor

It's a miracle when Finnick is brought some how back to life. After his body has been taken from the Capitol's last Militia, it seems that they had already been operating on the boy; training to get him back to health. For once after the death of her husband, Annie Cresta is put at ease, with the hope he will be able to awake, and live with her in peace, once more. Unfortunately, Finnick doesn't remember a thing - well, everything, except Annie Cresta. Is this what happens, after?
