Christmas break is over. Wilhelm returns to school with the knowledge that everything between him and Simon is ruined. Their relationship is awkward. Confusing. Broken. Or at least that's what both Wilhelm and Simon thought. Simon has begun to be flirted with by a boy named Liam. He's not sure how to feel about this, though he feels like he needs a fresh start.

Wilhelm, the prince to be, was almost outed a couple days ago, by a scandalous video. He didn't have the strength to come out not by choice, so he left his secret boyfriend Simon to face the media alone, to feel the embarrassment, and violation alone. So Simon broke up with him. He loves Simon but knows that until he comes out they can't be together. He knows that Simon loves him back and is trying to build up the confidence to win him back, by doing the one thing that the news and everyone will never forget and never stop talking about.

"Prince Wilhelm," the voice of Malin, his bodyguard standing just a few feet behind him, manages to get him out of his trance but he doesn't move an inch "everything okay?" Wilhelm feels like snorting. Like laughing in her fucking face. Of course nothing is okay. And he is sure she is well aware of it, she has been following him around for long enough to know that no. Nothing is fucking okay. He wants to yell at her, tell her to back the fuck off and maybe smash the tinted car windows in the process. Take all of his anger out on people undeserving of it. Or What would have happened if Wilhelm hadn't left after saying "I love you" to Simon.

Wilhelm and Erik, we all know the names. But the names Vea and Mäja may not be so familiar. But they're all apart of the same family. Vea and Mäja are the secret children. Sent away at nine years old, Vea to Canada and Mäja to a boarding school in Iceland. Now the royal family is forced to come clean after Wilhelm leaked photos with the twin girls. Life is spiraling. Starts off at the end of season one of Young Royals on Netflix. Simon and Wilhelm try to find a way to keep their impossible relationship. They have to deal with the press and their own friends at school talking about their leaked video. Simon can't help but feel betrayed when Wilhelm denies he was the one in the video. Will the two be able to be together in this forbidden relationship? The two struggle through unknown obstacles to try to get back to each other.

Will love be greater than revenge and duty? When Crown Prince Wilhelm returns to the prestigious boarding school nine months later, he relearns his mistakes and chooses between youthful love and crushing expectations.
