Il Boss è consapevole di tutto ciò, ma ha un problema più grande da risolvere: sulla Terra sempre meno persone seguono i suoi comandamenti e non riesce a capire il perché. Così Beatrice convince Gabriele a proporre al Grande Capo di prendere due piccioni con una fava: mandare Dante e Virgilio sulla Terra in esplorazione, così che i due piccioncini possano stare del tempo da soli e qualcuno cerchi di comprendere cosa sta succedendo alla specie umana. Ma un tacito monito viene riferito a Virgilio: se consumeranno il loro amore si ritroveranno entrambi nel cerchio dei Sodomiti al termine della missione.
