When Willow dies under weird circumstances she wakes up in middle earth. The last thing she can remember is a hospital bed so waking up on soft grass with four hobbits staring at her was quite the shock. They lead her to Lord Elrond and Gandalf in hopes of them being able to help only to discover that Gandalf was Willow's grandfather in the other world. Soon it's made apparent that it is no accident that sent her to middle earth, a certain egg making it even more clear. Willow has to fight to survive everyone that wants to cause her and her newly found friends harm in a world she knows very little about.
