When Willow dies under weird circumstances she wakes up in middle earth. The last thing she can remember is a hospital bed so waking up on soft grass with four hobbits staring at her was quite the shock. They lead her to Lord Elrond and Gandalf in hopes of them being able to help only to discover that Gandalf was Willow's grandfather in the other world. Soon it's made apparent that it is no accident that sent her to middle earth, a certain egg making it even more clear. Willow has to fight to survive everyone that wants to cause her and her newly found friends harm in a world she knows very little about. And a few men seemingly captivated by her doesn't exactly make it easier.... (i do not own Lord of the rings, but i do own my oc's and the plot in my book)(Arwen and Aragorn are not in love in this book)

This is a LotR FanFic. None of the characters belong to me except the ones that are made up by me (Nymira and the Wolves). Also, Cover Art is not mine. And neither is the music from youtube. All copyright goes to the correct people. Born in a different world, Nymira Blackwater was brought into a world she never knew existed. She had met and befriended the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. During that quest, she had come to know a certain blond elf princeling. Now how that whole part of her life went down is another tale. For now, I shall tell you a different story. One that she is willing to let you in on. Once this tale is over, perhaps she may be willing to divulge a tale or two about her previous adventure that involves a rather curious hobbit, 13 dwarves, and a Dragon! But we must begin, so without further ado, feel free to read to your heart's content. Muchly appreciated, from Nymira and Author.

"Do you fear me? The monster I've become?" "Never." "Your eyes betray you, elf-boy." <><><><>Legolas x OC x Aragorn<><><><> A vengeful war is about to engulf Middle Earth, and a group must come forward willing to venture into Mordor to destroy the One Ring. But for the Fae of Middle Earth, dark and light alike, a more pressing matter is at hand; the Uruk-Hai war that is sweeping its way through their kingdoms. Elena, princess of the light Fae kingdom of Aerith, can do nothing but watch as the world around falls into madness. Without another option available, Elena must travel to one of the light Faes' closest allies, Rivendell, to seek help, where she is caught up in perhaps one of the most perilous quests imaginable. Unbeknownst to her, however, she is directly related to a powerful prophecy that will see itself fulfilled on the eve of her 22nd birthday. One that will tip the scales of the war. But to whose favour is a question whose answer will be determined by the resolve deep within Elena. Note: A new race has been added to Middle Earth, whose origins you can read about in the Exposition. It is not necessary to read it, but if you wish to gain a better understanding of Elena's race, then it is recommended.

'ElthrΓel listened with rapt attention as Finrod, laying on his back and staring at the clear sky above him, spoke about the beauty of the Trees of Valinor. He rarely spoke to her now, not that he had ever made a habit to talk with her, but this was the first time she had ever hear him talk about the days in Valinor, now seeming so long ago. She had never heard him speak of those days with anyone. 'Since the days held captive in the dungeons of Morgoth, any memory of the beauty and brightness of the days in Valinor seemed like a distant dream, half-forgotten. But when she heard Finrod speak of them, they seemed at once real and alive; she felt that she only had to stretch forth her hand and touch the leaves of Laurelin.' Fading Light follows, for the most part, the tale of The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien, so if you haven't read it yet, I would encourage you to do so. :D Hopefully you like this story!
