Hearth, who is deaf and traumatized, has been conditioned to hate himself thanks to his abusive father. Blitzen, who is innocent and hardworking, has to deal with the sudden loss of his father. Both of them are in dire need of someone else to help ease their pain, so when they both unexpectedly meet in a forest one day, they have an instant connection. Slowly, both males grow to love each other unconditionally, to the point where they would be lost without the other. Hearthstone never thought that his father would put a bounty on his head for running away. He also never imagined that he would get cake thrown at his head by an angry dwarf, take orders from a decapitated head, or jump off cliffs. Blitzen never expected to find a nearly dead elf with horrible fashion sense passed out in an alley way. He didn't expect to play hide-and-seek with frost giants or give baths to oversized cats. He certainly never expected to become friends with this elf, or possibly something more... All these two wanted to do was find their meaning, what they were living for. Fate had other ideas. ...
