(X-posted from AO3) Going into heat was nothing new to Amity. She'd gone through the process at least once a year for the past three years. Her first time going through it was hard, which was to be expected as she was only fourteen, but it wasn't completely unbearable. Her parents simply brought her to a room in the manor designed specifically for times like that and she stayed there for the week that it lasted. Fifteen came and went, and Amity had come to terms with the fact that this would be her routine for the foreseeable future. She was okay with that. ...Then the human came. At sixteen years old, Amity Blight met Luz Noceda. (Formally known as 'That Neko!Amity Story That No One Asked For.' Huge thanks to @amitys_master on Twitter for the title name! Luz just wants her step-mom to be happy and so she decided to try the therapy out. There she meets Dr.Blight. The person who supposedly can help get her life in control. Although sometimes, love can unravel in unusual circumstances. Amity Blight who used to be Little Miss Perfect by her mother's terms decides to be her own definition of perfect. Her rebellious attitude then caused her to cut ties with her family. Now free from her parents' grasp, she decided to help others with their problems. With that note, she becomes a therapist. 2 years have passed since Amity last saw Luz. Even though she didn't expect to see Luz ever again her feelings for the human girl never changed. The butterflies in her stomach kept flying when she thought about her crush. But just when she was about to loose the last spark of hope something changed on the Boiling Isles. Before Luz left, an oath was made. An oath that made sure that Luz would come back soon and see Amity and everyone else. "Remember to come back and visit if not stay" , Amity said drawing a circle around their hands " But-" ,Luz tried to argue helplessly. " No Luz. No buts or anything. We can't go around breaking oaths. We don't know what would happen" ,Amity responded with a soft smile. The two girls looked each other in that eye as they started to cry. Than Amity gave a tight hug. One that was most certainly not their last, at least not until they were to meet again. .....That was 3 years ago.....
