Running is the only thing about the Maze that Tasha likes; breathing like her lungs are about to give out, blood pumping like it's trying to burst from her veins, wondering if she might ever stop. Well, it's not the only thing, there's the other Runners, the silence of the Deadheads, that one time she punched Gally in the face... And there's Newt. Yeah, she likes Newt, too.

When Gally gets left behind by the gladers, a group fighting against WCKD finds him and patches him up. In that group there's a girl, Finley, who's brother was taken by WCKD years ago, she thinks Gally might just be her ticket back to him - or at the very least help her get some revenge. Some bits I made up to fill in the gap between the end of the maze runner and the death cure, but mostly follows the plot of the last movie. È l'apparecchio che Thomas usava un tempo per comunicare con i suoi amici, un ricordo di un passato che lui preferirebbe dimenticare. Spinta dalla curiosità, Rose accende la radio. Un crepitioStatico riempie la stanza, poi una voce spezza il silenzio: "Did you miss me, Tommy? Stai tranquillo, io sto bene, Ti sto cercando."
