Jared Wilson is fifteen years old and waiting to begin his Pokémon journey, but he always gets held back. As a citizen of Violet City in Johto, he can't stand it any longer and decides to take matters into his own hands. Constantly living under the shadow of his brother, Falkner, Jared feels left out and imperfect. He feels that the only way to change this is to become a Pokémon master as well, and take his brother's place. Sixteen year old, Bree moves and enrolls into the best Pokemon academy in all of Hoenn. She befriends three mysterious boys. Cress, a first year who gets in trouble too often and always has time for a joke. Jase, also a first year who is in the top of his classes and knows a lot about Pokemon. Then, there is Preston a third year like herself, who is an incredible trainer and has a strong bond with his pokemon. A teacher tells them, they are the last of the protectors and must gather the six orbs created by Mew before they fall in the wrong hands.
