Angela Brown loves to read comic books. It's her secret obsession. She's not really ashamed of her after school hobby, but she still likes to keep that fact to herself. One day after her class is over Angela decides to go to her dorm for a quick nap and she falls asleep while reading the latest Nightwing issue. The next thing she knows, she's falling down from the sky straight into her comic book hero's arms. Somehow, Angela finds herself unexpectedly transported into the heart of Gotham City, her beloved comic book world come to life. Now, with the help of Nightwing and his friends she tries to figure out a way home to her own dimension. Dick Grayson was fed up with Batman, that's true, but he was also tired, tired of always being treated like a kid, tired of keeping secrets, tired of fighting his inappropriate feeling for his best friend, just tired. At sixteen Dick left Batman, and he also left the team, he wanted to be his own hero, work by himself with out living under the shadow of the big bad bat, and he was also running, running from the feelings he wasn't supposed to have. Five years later he gets an offer, the team wants him to join, except they don't know he used to be Robin, and he's not about to tell them.

The Justice League is shocked to find Batman being nice to a Gotham "criminal". Why, they are about to find out.
