Alabama, 2050. That's when Loki was finally going to to prove himself. It was him who found out that this inferior version of himself was hiding there. Now he just had to stop him. But it actually wasn't a him and he wasn't actually going to stop the female version of himself that day. But if he lost this, he would win something else or...someone else. But wasn't he destined to destroy everything around him? And hurt and kill people? This is a story based on the Loki series. It's about what could've happened if Loki didn't go with Sylvie that day and Mobius and him had actual feelings for each other. Keep in mind that I started writing this before episode 3 came out and that it's my first fanfiction. Anyway, enjoy reading! ^^

TAKES PLACE AFTER SEASON 1, HEAVY WITH SPOILERS! All Loki's were destined to be selfish. Sylvie only looked to killing the One Who Remains as revenge, for she had been waiting to do it all her life. Loki (our original, and one and only) only wanted to survive and found that his best chance at that was to not kill the One Who Remains and instead figure it out another way. But Sylvie did it anyway, and now the timeline is in shambles. After being thrown into the portal, back to the TVA our Loki finds himself alone...for the one person in the entire universe he felt like knew him, didn't anymore. Read as Loki goes on a heroic mission to get his Mobius back, and correct his timeline.

"I'll kill Loki!" Maybe in hindsight, Mobius promising to kill the Variant he had grown unreasonably attached to was a bad idea. He had been told he had an affinity for broken things. And maybe that was true- after all, he had placed faith in Loki, only to be stabbed in the back. But he had also been told that he never gave up, so he wouldn't, even if that meant putting everything he had ever worked for on the line. Or The aftermath of Loki stepping through that portal featuring sarcastic banter, lots of angst, actual representation, two idiots falling in love, and maybe, just maybe, some jet skis.
