Everyone has a soulmate. Everyone has an incomplete picture carved onto the underside of their wrist. Once they meet their soulmate, the picture completes itself. Ever since Thomas can remember, he's had an unsolvable maze tattooed into the underside of his wrist, but one night he notices that there's a way out. Thomas doesn't know where or when it happened, but sometime that day, he had met his soulmate...

Newt has had many detective partners over the years. Some have been too bossy. Some too stupid. Some too arrogant. Some too touchy. And now he has a new one, and he's just hoping they'll be a little better than the ones before him. Thomas is happy to have lots of different partners. They always bring something new to the table, made it interesting. And now he's excited to have a new one. But, something more serious than their pretty squabbles and teasing will arise, and they must work together to figure out what's going on, and stop it before it blows out of their control.

Newt has to leave his home in London, everything he ever knew to move into a house with his mothers boyfriend, his daughter Malia, and his son Thomas. Newt was angry at the world but Thomas helps him realize it may not be all that bad, especially to have a new brother. Will Newt learn to love Thomas as a brother or something more? Thomas's dads girl friend and son were moving in with his dad, him and his little sister. Thomas was angry at first but he learned to accept it and now his mission is to make Newt accept it. Will Thomas learn to love Newt as a brother, or something more? I suck at summaries just read it COMPLETED
