Y/N likes G despite his hateful nature and somehow convinces him to let her come along on a quest he's taking to save his brother from the Monster Capital where they took him for war. After surviving assaults, the government, and Mother Nature herself, Y/N and G start to form a special bond that neither of them wants to break. But when everything goes wrong and neither of them is strong enough to prevent it, Y/N finds that the capitals that she had always hated are far more sinister than she could've ever imagined. You knew if you let them into your life they'd make interesting friends. What you didn't expect was that getting to know these remarkable strangers would be like coming home.

When your heart stops, you're supposed to stop there. But when your heart stops in the Underground, your soul resets. But what if the reset doesn't work. Your small hold over the Underground is ripped away from you and you are thrown into a dying timeline, monsterkind's final attempt at self-preservation. You're alone, completely and utterly alone.
