By year fifteen, every girl and boy recieve a special beast bond and power. Kids would commonly get the powers of fire, nature, air, werewolf, or vampire. Rarely, the power of water or telekinesis. Skolris got none of these... Can Skolris keep her power a secret or will she get sent away to some experiment lab? Will she be able to protect the town she loves from constant bombings? Can she find out the secret behind an organization who steals other people's beast bonds? And more importantly, can Skolris defeat a man whose greed is so strong that he consumes the powers within others and calls them his own while at the same time, protecting her loved ones and being hunted down? A/N: I have not edited this story yet so if you are someone who hates grammar mistakes, PLEASE don't read this XD. Also, i kinda wrote this a while ago and i was a little inexperienced, so also don't freak out when things don't make sense ;D

I rushed to the mirror and was memorized by what I saw. Big brown griffin wings were peeking around my back. I could feel every inch of them, soft and light. Oh, and once I tried to move them, I knew right away that they were what I had been missing the first 13 years of my life. **updates are random** ⚡️this is my first book so it may not be too great⚡️ ************************************************ Grace Foster is just an ordinary girl, or so she thought until the day of her thirteenth birthday when she woke up with wings. Her life will never be the same ever again and new friendships may come at a price. And what will Grace do when her world gets flipped again. Book one of the Shifter Series. Arron had been asking his father if they could move for the better half of his freshman year because of the other shapeshifters and humans bullying him, but when his dad suddenly dies in a car wreck on the way home from work, his mother decides it's time to go. Arron thought that she just couldn't take the constant flood of memories... everyone in their town knew his father and always offered their sympathies and stories, but they didn't understand that it hurt her more to be reminded of him, than it helped. So now Arron calls Ridgedale home, and while it's definitely different than Washington, he could only hope that the kids at his new school weren't just as 'welcoming' as the ones at his previous one.

No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad. 'Fight or Flight' is a fanfic based on ChristalScherer's book Upon Wings of Change. I recommend reading it first, as there is a spoiler for the end in chapter 18 of 60. Btw, this is my first fanfic, but not my first time writing. Scientists acquired alien tech, and being without a conscious, decided to experiment on humans. Sela was already out on her own at nineteen. Warren was twenty-three and months away from graduating top of his class. Both were taken, and both were turned into dragonettes. Not long after, the Votec wiped humanity off the face of the planet only to be run off themselves by the Kymari. Banded together with a few other dragonetts, Warren and Sela decided to stay away from the Kymari cities judging the monster-infected forest safer. However, as the years progressed, more dangers arose and chances of survival shrunk. They had to move. Nothing ever went as it was supposed to, and the attempt to relocate came at a high cost. Instead of simply trying to find a new home, Sela was left trying to find Warren while he struggled to make his way back to Earth after being taken. Escript: Was it worth it? Tasha could have been lying or even mistaken about Warren, but the image she shared-it was him. Without a doubt it was him. Sela swallowed hard watching the Kymari enter the shuttle; it was right there, her chance to get Warren back was in front of her, but there was a cost, and she wasn't sure she wanted to pay. She could leave and never look back. It would be that easy. All she had to do was turn around and go, but that meant leaving Macy alone with the Kymari. If her fears were true she couldn't leave him. She couldn't bring herself to move. Indecision kept her rooted to the spot, the seeping cold locking her muscles in place. She wouldn't go back into a cage-but Warren. How could she pass on a chance to get him back? She couldn't lead by herself, she needed him. She wanted him back. Whatever it took.
