Luz comes back the boiling isles 4 years later because her mom made her come home now she is back and everyone is a little different from before especially Amity Blight

Luz leaves at the end of the summer, and has to say goodbye to Amity. But three years later Luz finally tells her mom the truth and sets on her journey back to the boiling isles, to be reunited with her second family once again.

Before Luz left, an oath was made. An oath that made sure that Luz would come back soon and see Amity and everyone else. "Remember to come back and visit if not stay" , Amity said drawing a circle around their hands " But-" ,Luz tried to argue helplessly. " No Luz. No buts or anything. We can't go around breaking oaths. We don't know what would happen" ,Amity responded with a soft smile. The two girls looked each other in that eye as they started to cry. Than Amity gave a tight hug. One that was most certainly not their last, at least not until they were to meet again. .....That was 3 years ago.....

Luz's life changed as soon as she came back home now wishing to get away from reality she finally gets her wish granted.
