Harry Styles is a loner with social anxiety and a boring life. His past constantly mocks him and he has a severe self harm addiction that nobody, not even his best friend Zayn, knows about. Louis Tomlinson is the first openly gay member of his town's football (soccer) team and he doesn't want his sexuality to define him. He hates being known as "Louis, the gay one" and he is constantly bullied. He is very insecure about his sexuality and does anything to seem manly, which includes begging Niall and Liam to let him be. Both boys attend the same college. When they meet, their newfound friendship turns out to be great for the both of them. It eventually turns to a relationship. They are both in their own states of Misery.

When Harry Styles goes to his uncle's in Florida for the summer, he's reminded by the company his two dating friends, Liam and Zayn, how hopelessly single he is. The trip he expected to be fun turns slightly sour on his first day there. Until he meets Louis Tomlinson, that is. And even though Louis is more different than Harry could imagine, Harry slowly begins to feel like Louis could very well make his seemingly lonely trip the best vacation of his life.

Going through High school as a male Omega was hard and Alphas are assholes! When Louis got a job in London as a receptionist at a record label he hesitated to move in to a house owned by an Alpha named Liam but there was no other good options. Liam turned out to be a great guy, and the two other Betas living there, Niall and Zayn was as well. Louis felt relieved. Then Harry moved in.
