Virgil has never had an easy life. Running from his past has always been is full time occupation, even after he became the Shadow Knight and started going after criminals still unknown to the police and his very enemy, the Red Prince. So what happens when his past comes back to haunt him? And what happens when Roman, the hero of the city, gats involved in the mess? What happens when the lives of the people Virgil loves are once again at risk?

WARNING THIS IS THE SECOND BOOK IN THE SERIES PLEASE GO READ THE FIRST BOOK IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY: It's been a year since Remus and Deceit have turned themselves in to the police, ending their reign of terror over the city and Virgil. Since than Virgil has gained the life he's always wanted. He lives with his best friends and his boyfriends and is going to college. And though the others haven't given up hero work his life of crime is over and the name 'Shadow Master' is rarely ever spoken of anymore. He and the others are happy and healthy. Patton is one year away from becoming a teacher, soon all he'll have to do is his in-person training and he'll have his dream job. Logan has gained several new students who he helps to tutor. And Roman is not only close to a promotion at work but has been in several plays these past few months. But of course, we all know that happiness doesn't last forever. The others begin to feel like they're being watched. Trouble arrives at their doorstep and right when they think they're rid of it again something else happens. People are after them, they want all four of them but the reason they want Virgil is different than why they want Patton, Logan, and Roman. People long forgotten and forgiven have pushed themselves back into their lives. But they have to ask themselves; Are the people who found them, the people they say they are?

He quickly became attached to people, and when Virgil Elliot refused to even give his name, he quickly wanted to learn more about him. When the first year of college started, they both ended up getting taught several lessons from the other, in addition to their basic college courses.. This story will contain trigger warnings, including swearing (which is the only one I gave up on putting a TW for), which I will put at the beginning of the chapters containing them. This book will also be about Prinxiety. There will be no smut, but I may add angst. There will most definitely be a lot of fluff. This is also one heck of a slow burn. Enjoy!
