She fell asleep that night feeling disappointed at the creators of the anime for killing all of the handsome men in the anime. She wished that she could somehow get into the plot to change it so that they all won't die and live a happy life. Little did she know that one wish can actually bring her into the HAKUOKI itself.

Akari of the Kisaragi clan, self-taught and taught by her grandparents, parents and relatives at a young age. Now, she's teaching a boy name Terasaka Hiroshi who is currently under her wing. But what can people say, she's just an ordinary girl who is attending highschool in Kyoto. What she did know was that her house was the very base of the famous police of the Bafuku, the Shinsengumi. What she also knows that her clan is one of the most powerful, ancient great-horned oni clan that hid for so many centuries, isolated from humans and other oni clans. In a dark forest, a group of men stumbled upon an old house which contained a box filled with secret documents regarding the creation of Rasetsus. The men created an organization to create the Rasetsus and the Ochimizu. However, the organization was then destroyed by a group of powerful men. Years passed, the Rasetsus are still being researched by many underground organizations and they caused many chaos. Hijikata and The Shinsengumis along with Kazama's group are sent into the future, where they once again encounter their biggest opponent. When they arrive at the future, they are met with their descendants. One of them is Yukimura Sakura, Hijikata and Chizuru's great granddaughter. Also Kazama Ren, Kazama's great-grandnephew. There seems to be something going on between them. However the girl denies it while the guys keeps on insisting that there is something going on. How will they stop the Rasetsus number from growing? And how will those two's relationship turn out?
