He whistles into the night, watching stars and the moon climb in the black velvet cloth that is the sky. Animals always rustle the bushes and hoot in the trees, paying no mind to the mute whistler. Until a certain bush boy finds this whistler, and everything changes for the two.

It's just me goofing around with short story ideas because a whole book is a lot to be committed to. It's all of our faves from the dream SMP.
