Overall Marinette was happy though she missed her mother very much.That was until a certain liar came into the picture. She turned all of marinette's friends against her. Marinette's teacher was well a crappy teacher who put on the work load in Marinette's hands and fell for Lila's lies as well 😤😤😤. So Marinette was known as a troublesome student. Yeah so Lila some how got her parents to commit suicide. luckily she was unofficially adopted by Chloe. She took her in saying Marinette was her own. She really is the ice queen, now she goes to Gotham Academy and meets someone like her. Marinette has a secret. She's been hiding her eye color since she was little. She was a black. Of couse blacks were feared and if anyone found out you were a black you would be taken to a camp where they resided. So she hid it. Until she found Damian. Damian was found out to be a purple. Those were feared almost as much as blacks. Except Talia liked Damian's power as a purple. She loved it in fact. But he hid it from others. His father or brothers do not know about him being a purple. He feared they would shun him or his father would leave him because they were scared of him. And then Damian and Marinette meet each other.

Mari goes to America for a couple reasons: 1) visiting her online friend 2) finding her brother 3) getting help from Batman 4) spreading the word of her design brand. she never expects to fall in love.

To get a break from her class Mari signes up for a student exchange program. she well be staying with the Kent's.
