Tessa Young is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grades, and a sweet boyfriend. She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Hardin, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans.

Tiffany Palmer is a straight A, well behaved, school orientated, insecure, 16 year old girl. With the stresses of school and her emotional family problems at home, she tends to keep a lot to herself. Xander Johnson is a boy whom is very well renowned for his immature behaviour and wagging (Australian term for skipping classes/school). He doesn't care what people think of him. He acts tough on the outside, but in fact hides a painful past. Though he is an intelligent individual he finds himself making the wrong choices, being disruptive in class and shutting everyone out. These two have known each other for so long, yet never noticed each other... That is until the school principal is fed up with Xander's behaviour and takes action in an experiment involving Tiffany.
