Kaden Chauvet awakes in the same cold room that he remembers, seeing the reflection of pale viridescent eyes that scream curses at his mind. This is a beginning; a second chance that he would rather forsake than claim. Time has reversed, and he is back to play the role of an obedient fool-only, he no longer has any intentions of wagging his tail and committing the heinous crimes that he once did. He will save everyone; and then face his judgement. The judgement that comes in the raven-scaled hands of the heroic, slightly quiet, and son of the Dragon bloodline, Noah Bellamy. And yet the man claims, "I want to save you, fool." And another tearfully cries, "Please don't die. Not again, never again." And another's graceful voice pleads, "I don't wish to witness your demise again." Kaden stares, utterly confused. "What?" --- One sentence summary: In which a terrible sinner seeks redemption and amusement by relentlessly teasing an irritated dragon.

The words escaped the pages of a popular webnovel and the peaceful everyday had been corrupted in calamity. In simpler words, there was a damn apocalypse occurring. And in a particular building, overlooking the chaotic streets, two idiots flirted. "Do you want to rebel against your destiny?" the voice is firm and confident in its careless allure, promising a deal among the rubbles of this disaster. The man's lips curved dangerously, and he tilted his chin. "Then I'm in your hands, Joker." --- One sentence summery: In which an apocalypse has begun, and a certain delinquent 'accidentally' seduces his boss. Even shorter summery: deadly insulting machine MC x face looks good to punch (lovingly) ML

In this world that is similar to our own, the Empire of Exodus houses one of the strongest guilds in the current world, Exol. It's job is to close rifts that could allow monsters to run rampant. People who can close these gates are called the 'Reincarnated' The Villain of the story would be Deus Manachi He is the number one of the Exol guild, and one of the leaders that closed the the first main gates during the time of crisis. Although seemingly a hero, he was cold, cruel, and merciless. Killing anything and anyone that stood in his way. He was cynical and practical. Everything he did was in the name of protecting everyone and if some people had to be sacrificed for the greater good, it would be their honor to serve the empire and protect their families with their lives. However, for a villain to exist, there needs to be a hero. He would be Hiiro Seraphim. Coming out of seemingly nowhere, he rose in fame and prestige. He cleared rifts solo and didn't sacrifice anyone, and protected anyone that needed to be protected. As two opposites would attract, they would always end up in oppositions with one another. As their last fight happened, with destruction around them, the villain drew his last breath as his heart was pierced by the hero's sword. However, as he wandered through time with a spiritual body, unable to ascend, he slowly saw how the hero helped the people and accomplished what he had thrown his life and morality away for. Realizing how much pain he had caused he let go of his remaining attachments to the world, letting the hero have his happy ending. However, fate seems to have its own plans for him. He woke up to a familiar ceiling. Looking at himself, years younger. "It seems I've turned back to the past..." Rather than cause pain for the people I wanted to protect, this time I'll support the hero from the shadows. However... the hero seems to be acting strange? It seems like the villain will have to protect the hero for now.

He was reincarnated into a stereotypical shoujo manga with magic and fantastical creatures- not as any of the main cast, but the villain's butler, a kindhearted but loyal to a fault beastkin who fought to his death to let his abusive master escape- a mere narrative tool to make the villain seem even crueler. Unlike the original, however, he was not kind, nor was he loyal. He is not above killing, stealing, and lying- and he did not care if he was despised. To avoid a meaningless, pitiful death, he would even scheme his way to escape fate. Upon meeting the young villain, however, there was a change of plans. In this second life of his, he'll bet everything on the villain, and fulfill what the original couldn't- he will help the villain find the happiness that was so cruelly taken from him- no matter what it takes. (Now crossposted on Ao3 under the same name)
