Based on Dream's song "Road Trip" Sapnap has been living with Dream for a little over three months now but that wasn't enough for him. He wanted more. It is without a doubt, that Sapnap was desperate to meet up with Karl. He would do anything to see this boy. His best friend.. How far is too far though? Karl Jacobs is an innocent man who's grown up in the overworld, banned from going through the "portal to hell" as his parents called it. Sapnap is a demon in hiding. He was born in the underworld, known to him as the Nether. When he was eight he was saved by a wandering boy who found him interesting. He went by the name of Dream. Dream snuck him out of the horrid place he called home. While Sapnap missed it, he never dared to go back. ---

After Karl's parents had separated, his mum decided to start over. They moved from Britain to America and Karl had difficulties with fitting in but when he met Quackity, things were getting easier.
