Lekha is an orphan who has quite a fascination for all things connected with Rajasthan(India). The fascination comes to life as she is pulled into the century when the Mughals and Rajputs are in a tussle over Rajwara (Rajasthan of today). The story is from the point of view of a spectator who although involved still can look from an outsider's perspective. But what would happen if the spectator becomes the participant and has to take the most important decision of her life. Would she go with the flow and close the gates to her previous life or would she rather make a run for it towards the exit .

Calcutta, India. 1899 Being a woman in this age means being tied under the shackles created by the British and an equally orthodox society. Headstrong and outgoing, Anvesha doesn't care what people think about her. She is not one of those women who stay in their homes and pop children for their husbands. She is determined to pry her freedom. Alexander Stewart is a "childishly" arrogant man of eighteen. His journey to life begins when he comes to India with his two best friends, Matthew Hemmings and Jordan Wedlock. The day he crosses paths with the fierce looking Indian woman, he's sure that coming to India was the worst of his decisions. But will time change his mind? A feeling other than hatred; would something develop? (Descriptions would really be the death of me. Don't be disappointed, give this book a chance ^_^ ) ... In ancient Times, we have heard about stories of kings who were in polygamous marriages. And certain movies have romanticised their life with second or last wife. But I feel they didn't exactly show the feelings and griefs of a first wife rather they were made villains. So I got a thought why don't I write a story by myself and write what I want to see and show that? So this is my first try in wattpad and tell me your views about the story. #1 in india #3 in Cheating #6 in heartbreak #8 in historicalfiction #7 in betrayal

This story can be read standalone. Anamika, the first wife of yuvraj(Crown Prince) Pratap Singh Rathod saw in her dream that all her maids are in a hurry to complete her dressing so that she could attend the puja(Prayer) with her husband. The puja meant for her to get pregnant or shall I say the puja meant for the heir of the kingdom. She was sure that it was a dream because she could see the younger version of herself in the mirror rather than the grandmother of three children. Only to realize that it is not a dream but a reality when she gets pain and saw blood due to the hairpin that the maids were putting in her head. Join Anamika in her journey of Rebirth. Read the full prologue inside the book.
